Thank You!
My sincere thanks to everyone Wednesday night at the LDS Church in Paris for helping celebrate my 40th anniversary with NeTseO Trails Council. The surprise recognizition was GREAT! Roses, cake, ice cream, seeing young men be awarded merit badges and rank advancement: it was a wonderful evening. And State Rep. Mark Homer even presented me with a Texas flag that was flown over the State Capitol in my honor! WOW. Thank you all for allowing me to be a “small cog” in the giant wheel of Scouting.
Ordeal Make-up at Dierks
Makeup ordeal weekend is the weekend of Sept 24,25,26. You will need to arrive by 7:00 pm if at all possible. You will need to bring the following items:

This weekend will be the only makeup but since school has started and band and football creates a problem you may come after the Friday night events but you will still need to spend Friday night at camp even if it starts at 1:00 a.m. in the morning. If you plan to spend Saturday night be sure and bring what you need for that.
Saturday the 25th will be a campwide workday to get camp ready for Mom and Me. Everyone is invited to camp but if you are not in the OA you may not attend the Friday and Sat night ceremonies. The OA will be serving meals that weekend so if you will be there and eating at the dining hall be sure you call the council office by the 22nd and let them know. If you are coming up as a newly called out OA member be sure you let the office know that info also. The cost for the weekend for members is $20 or $5 per meal if you are only coming up on Saturday.
